PRP induction only after merger completion: Kiran

Chief Minister Kiran kumar reddy said the PRP men would be inducted into the cabinet only after the party officially merges with the congress party.

“It is yet to be officially merged with the congress party in the assembly. After the official merger, PRP representatives will be inducted into the cabinet,” he told media persons in Delhi today. “In fact, we can expand the cabinet whenever we want after the formal merger,” he explained.

Denying news reports he had differences with PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana and a deep chasm has been developing between them, Kiran said all important decisions are being taken by him and Botsa together.

Kiran delayed his return to Hyderabad to meet Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and was waiting for an appointment with the PM.

Speaking about the ACB raids on liquor syndicates and Botsa’s demand for a judicial or CBI inquiry, Kirankumar made it clear that he has not yet received the report on the raids. “Once I receive the reports, I will take an appropriate decision on the issue,” he said.

When reporters asked his reaction on Botsa holding two posts as PCC chief and also as a minister, he said the high command will look after the issue of dual posts. (JUBS)
