Former MLA of Sattenapalli in Guntur district, Mr Balakoti Reddy, 85, passed away of long term illness in the wee hours of Monday.

Balakoti Reddy, who has been sick for the last three years, breathed his last at his own house at Chirumamilla in Nadendla Mandalam, said family members.

An old timer in the district politics, Balakoti Reddy worked as the president of the Edlapadu Mandala Praja Parishad, in-charge chairman of the Zilla Parishad and also as the Chairman of the Guntur Market Yard in the past.  (JUBS)
