Court defers hearing on narco analysis petition

The CBI Special Court, which is trying Jaganmohan Reddy's illegal assets case, has deferred the hearing on the narco analysis petition filed by CBI on Jaganmohan Reddy to June 21. It is known that when Jagan's judicial custody concluded on June 11, he was produced before the court. The same day, CBI moved a petition statingthat a narco analysis test should be conducted on Jaganmohan Reddy in connection with the case.

The counsels of Jaganmohan Reddy raised objections on the petition and stated that stating that the petition was nothing but mere contempet of court. The counsels cited Supreme Court's guidelines on narco analysis. Therefore, CBI Court asked Jagan to file a counter petition by June. Jagan moved counter petition on narco analysis test and the hearing on CBI's petition was deferred to June 19. And on today, the court again deferred the next hearing to June 21.

It is known that Jaganmohan Reddy is currently at Chanchalguda Jail under judicial custody. His custody would end on June 25. Jaganmohan Reddy is the prime accused in illegal assets case.
