The prime accused in illegal assets case and YSR Congress party president, Jaganmohan Reddy has filed a bail petition with the Andhra Pradesh High Court on Thursday. Jagan, in his petition, has requested that he be granted bail keeping view his MP status besides considering his status as the president of a political party.
Jaganmohan Reddy has also stated that prior to his arrest by CBI, he supported the questioning and said he would continue to support the inquiry of CBI even after getting bail. It may be noted that Jaganmohan Reddy is currently undergoing judicial custody at Chanchalguda Jail in Hyderabad. His judicial custody would conclude on June 25.
Meanwhile, Enforcement Directorate filed charges on Jagan for illegal money laundering. The petition filed by ED would come for hearing on June 25. CBI's petition seeking narco analysis on Jagan would be heard on July 4.
