The passport office in Secunderabad is conducting passport mela on June 24 and 25.  The regional passport officer, Srikar Reddy has said that this passport mela has been organized keeping in view the ever increasing demand for passports. He has said that this mela would be conducted at all passport centres in Andhra Pradesh. There isn't any need to fill the passport application online and wait for the slot. One can fill in the applications (hand written) and submit the same on these two days at any passport office.

The timings of receiving passport applications would be 10 AM to 2 PM. One should, however, bring along with them the original documents and passport size photographs. As soon as the application is received, people would be given a receipt with the respective file number. So, all those who are in need of passport, make use of the passport mela.
