Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy said only by taking the populist schemes to the rural people, will Congress regain its lost glory in the state. CM allongwith the PCC Chief Botsa Satyanarayana held a high level meeting today in the capital. Six Ministers partcipated in this introspection meet to check the reasons of the debacle of the party in the recently concluded bypolls.
The meeting concluded that the best way to regain the lost confidence in public would be to take the populist schemes initiated by the government to them. The meet also felt that the schemes which were having their names as named by the former Congress Chief Minister late Y S Rajashekar Reddy were disturbing. As the ministers felt that these schemes were claimed by the opposition YSR Congress party as its agenda and gained the people-confidence. Hence the meet concluded that these schemes must be briefed to the public they were Congress initiatives. (With inputs from internet- AW AarKay)
