Scorpion in plane stings man

In a bizzarre incident, a scorpion delayed an international bound Gulf Air flight from Chennai for about 30 minutes. A person hailing from Andhra Pradesh didn't notice a scorpion trapped in his pocket until it came out and stung him twice creating tension atmosphere in the flight. The scorpion, which crawled out of a pocket of  Vidyasagar, stung him on his thumb. The fellow passengers, who were worried that scorpion might stung the co travellers too, launched the search operation for the deadly little thing. And at last, after 30 minutes of search operation, one of the passengers detected the scorpion under the seat and killed it.

Meanwhile, the airline crew informed the pilot to hold back, who was about to take off. The pilot informed the air traffic control (ATC) about the urgent medical attention needed to the passenger. Vidyasagar was shifted to the hospital. He took another flight to Bahrain on Monday night from Chennai airport. The sources said that so far only rats on baord planes were noticed and this was the first time that a scorpion was notice on airplane.
