Yesteryear actor Rajesh Khanna has passed away this noon at his residence in Mumbai after a prolonged illness. He was 70. Rajesh Khanna was admitted to Lilavati hospital in Mumbai twice this month after he faced showed the signs of uneasiness. There was tension a few days back among the fans of Kaka after they heard that he was sick. However, the stylish Rajesh Khanna has waved hands at the public who gathered at his residence after he got discharged from the hospital.

His daughter Twinkle Khanna and son-in-law Akshay Kumar were taking care of Rajesh Khanna. Entered the reel world in 1960s, Rajesh Khanna was the first superstar of Indian Cinema. He had a huge fan base who literally went crazy looking at his style.

The moment the news of death broke out, several film personalities tweeted on this legendary actor, who is no more. South actress Priya Mani has said that her father always used to imitate the dressing style of Rajesh Khanna and expressed her grief over the news. Noted film maker Madhur Bhadarkar said Bollywood is surely going to miss him. Veteran actor Anumpam Kher has tweeted that Rajesh Khanna gave them (actors) a crash course in love. Sensational producer Mahesh Bhatt said a bit of them died with this enigmatic star.

All in all, not just Bollywood and other film fraternity, but every other person who knew Rajesh Khanna were shocked to noted that the legendary actor passed away.
