CM: Govt to give explanation to SC on advocates' agitation

The Andhra Pradesh chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has said that the State Government would give an explanation to the Supreme Court over the incident that took place on High Court premises during Telangana agitation. He made these statements in the wake of the apex court asking the government as to what action it took against the advocates who resorted to violence on court premises.  Kiran Kumar Reddy, who was at Jubilee Hall for a CLP meet this morning, told the media that he (the government) would welcome the decision of the Supreme Court on the advocates' clashes at the AP High Court.

The CLP meet was convened today to ensure that there would be no cross voting in the Congress party. While the deputy chief minister Damodara Rajanarasimha ruled out the scope for cross voting, the sources said that 11 legislators refrained themselves from today's CLP meet.
