The original superstar of Bollywood, Rajesh Khanna is no more. Leaving scores of his film fans and reel world fraternity in vain, the legendary actor passed away on Wednesday afternoon at his residence Aashirwad in Mumbai. He was 69. The moment the film personalities learned about the death of Rajesh Khanna, they thronged his residence to pay last respects. His funeral will take place at 11 am today.

Rajesh Khanna is undoubtedly a legend of Indian Cinema. All news channels last night were airing the scenes of Rajesh Khanna and Amitabh starrer Anand, which happened to be Amitabh's debut movie. Rajesh Khanna's philosophical dialogues from that movie on death have gained significance yesterday. A top news channel even aired a documentary made on Rajesh Khanna years back by a BBC reporter. All in all, there was none like Rajesh Khanna and Indian Cinema will supposedly never witness another Rajesh Khanna. He was the superstar and will remain the superstar as long as Indian Cinema remains.
