Film actor Krishnudu has approached the State Human Rights Commission and pleaded the commission to direct the police to protect his land from being occupied by miscreants. Krishnudu, in his complaint, stated that a few persons were allegedly attempting for occupying his land in Manikonda area of Hyderabad, which he bought with the hard earned money.

He has also said that the people who tried to occupy his land threatened him of dire consequences and also mentioned that they were backed by Karthik Reddy, son of home minister Sabita Indra Reddy. He has also said that Krishnudu even met the home minister but to no avail.

Krishnudu has also said that another 20 persons purchased land along with him in Manikonda area of the city.
