Left to hold demonstrations

After TRS and BJP, the left parties are gearing up for crying foul on electricity cuts in the state. The left parties, which met at the CPM central office in Hyderabad have carved out their future course of action on this issue. Although there are differences among CPI and CPM, it looked like they patched up in order to exert more pressure on the government on the problems being faced by the scores of the people.

CPM state secretary B V Raghavulu has given a call to the party cadres to hold demonstrations across the state on August 28 against the government's insensitive approach towards the electricity problems. He has said that even after demonstrations and protest, the government doesn't respond, then they would give a bandh call sometime in the next week. Further, he urged other political parties in the state to come forward and join hands with them. It may be noted that state has been witnessing power cuts even in rainy season, which is apparently irking scores of people in the state.
