Babu gets red carpet welcome in 'Vastunna Mee Kosam'

The walkathon (padayatra) embarked by the Telugu Desam Party President N Chandrababu Naidu slowly but steadily received people's support. His novel initiative to reach out to the public had a lukewarm response initially but later it has received tumultuous partcipation from public. The chief's padayatra titled, 'Vastunna Mee Kosam' reaches the sixth day and after a brief  halt at the  Peruru Gurukula Patasala, last night, the leader shall proceed further at 10 am on Sunday. After a light breakfast with the locals, Mr Babu shall inspect the Peruru Dam and move on. The day's Padayatra shall end at Mundukurla Junction in Anantapur District. This is his sixth day in the district and he is almost covering approximately 21 kms per day by walk.

On Friday Mr Babu's motto to start his fight against corruption by kindling the awareness in public, received excellent response from the public. At the Garimella Village the leader spent some quality time with the iron smiths. They were very happy to receive the leader who even worked on their kilns with the hammer for a brief time.

Critics feel that Mr Babu lost the 'Midas Touch' and his Vastunna Mee Kosam, must do the needful change in building up the lost image. The giant walkathon commenced on Gandhi Jayanti and shall extend till February giving him ample time to revamp the party image. And it is doing miracles for the party as the crowds are increasing at a rapid pace,  sending right signals to his oppositions. (With inputs from internet-AW AarKay)
