The controversy surrounding A Woman in Braamanism movie has come to an end with the film maker accepting for changing the title of the movie. It may be noted that A Woman in Braamanism triggered anger among a particular section and even a leader wrote a letter to the union ministry asking to look into the issue. Accordingly, a committee was appointed and suggested that there were no obscene scenes in A Woman in Braamanism movie. However, the title allegedly irked a particular group and therefore the filmmaker decided to change the title. It has to be mentioned here that A Woman in Braamanism movie was based on a famous Telugu novel by Chalam, Braamaneekam.
