A bandh call given by a section of people against the apparently disturbances created by another group has turned violent in Nalgonda. Scores of devotees of Lord Ayyappa and Lord Hanuman came to roads and expressed their solidarity with the bandh. The reports indicated that the police caned those who the devotees who supported the protest. CrPC section 144 was imposed in the city. Superintendent of Police, Naveen Gulati was reportedly supervising the situation.
