In the wake of a conspiracy case on Paritala Sri Ram (son of late Paritala Ravindra) to allegedly eliminate a Congress MLA, Anantapur police have reached the residence of Raptadu MLA Paritala Sunitha where they carried out the searches in the residence. Since Sri Ram was not found at Sunita's residence, the police later searched the residences of Paritala relatives wherein they were unable to trace out Sri Ram there also.
Meanwhile, Paritala Sunitha has lashed out at the police. She said police entered her residence even without having a search warrant. She further alleged that the police earlier harassed Paritala Ravindra too, which allegedly led to his death. It may be noted that Paritala Sri Ram's name was spelled out when the police interrogated three persons, who were hiding near Kunathadu gate, which is near Dharmavaram. The three arrested persons were holding sickles and guns to allegedly attack Congress leader K Sudhakar Reddy. In total, there were 13 persons. While three were arrested, the remaining ten fled from the spot.
Paritala Ravindra-who was the life and soul of TDP for many year- was an able politician who had a huge fan base in Anantapur district and even in Bengaluru. He was encouraged to come to politics by legendary politician NT Rama Rao. Paritala was murdered a couple of years ago by unknown gun men at TDP party office in Anantapur.
