TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu, who completed his 100 days of Vastunna Meekosam padayatra yesterday in Khammam district, is continuing with his walkathon. Notably, today it's his second day padayatra in Khammam district. TDP sources told Andhra Wishesh that Chandrababu is going to walk 17.5 kilometres today. Babu, who stayed at Bachchodu village last night, has resumed his padayatra this morning. Babu has been receiving solid response even in Khammam district.
In a couple of days from now, Chandrababu Naidu would be concluding his Vastunna Meekosam. He has created a record in the state as the only leader who walked so much of distance. Earlier, it was YS Rajashekara Reddy but Babu broke his record a few days back. As Chandrababu mingled with people, he made so many promises. He assured that the lives of down trodden people would be uplifted, jobs were guaranteed to the youth and also increase in old age pensions was promised.
All were apparently happy with Chandrababu's vows. But, many were of opinion that it would have been so nice had Babu promised to bring back madhyapana nishedham (complete ban on alcohol). Let us hope that Chandrababu Naidu understands the wishes of the people and implement the liquor ban, which was first implemented by legendary NTR.
