Prez to launch Asia-Pacific Conference of  Ophthalmological Society

His Excellency President of India, Pranab Mukherjee will inaugurate the 28th Congress of the Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO) held in conjunction with the 71st Annual Conference of All India Ophthalmological Society at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre. The conference shall commence today (January 17) and end on January 20.

Andhra Pradesh Capital is all geared up to invite the first gent of the nation with reverence. He will be landing in the city around 4 pm and shall drive down directly to the venue to launch the four day conference.

Nearly 19 member nations would participate with almost 10,000 global delegates, in this mammoth event which will also hold 800 lectures by world renowned domain experts. This will be the ideal podium that would provide the opportunity for participants to interact with international ophthalmic experts.

The major sponsors for this huge event are ALCON, APPASAMY ASSOCIATES, CARE GROUP, NOVARTIC and ZEISS. The top trio Frank Martin-President APAO, Dennis Lam Secy-Gen, APAO and Rajvardhan Azad Congress President released a statement welcoming the delegates to this august conference that is boasted to be the most relevant in the Asia-Pacific region.
