With people especially in twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad are getting worried over Aadhaar cards (as government linked Aadhaar with subsidized gas), minister Sridhar Babu plunged into action for giving solace to the residents. He appealed to the public not to get worried about Aadhaar cards issuance.

Minister has said that only after Aadhaar issuing process is completed, the cash transfer plan would be implement and last date for getting subsidized gas without Aadhaar card would be extended. He even citied chief minister Kiran Kumar stating the same. However, he said a statement is expected from the centre over the same.

Ever since government linked Aadhaar with gas, Kiran sarkar came under heavy criticism from households who reportedly took on chief minister and recalled the works of legendary NTR. They further questioned as to why Aadhaar should be linked to domestic gas and why not alcohol. It looks like Congress party moved a step away from the public with this decision.
