Tirupati people are not satisfied by the railway budget even though observers are stating that this budget was satisfactory to the state too. Many leaders and even association heads in Tirupati pointed out that railway minister Pawan Kumar Bansal came to Tirupati two months ago. They said the railway minister promised to make Tirupati a world class station. Some association representatives even mentioned that they have handed over a memorandum of request to Bansal over the problems of the railway worker. They said they were hoping some decision in favour of the same but stressed that they were unhappy to note that no special preference was given to Tirupati.
It has to be mentioned here that no special express train was introduced between Shiridi and Tirupati station, which many people expected here. Therefore, people in Tirupati reportedly expressed their displeasure over this budget. All in all, for observers, on the whole, this budget looked like a fair one.
