AP bags national tourism award

The national tourism awards for the current year have been declared by the tourism minister Chiranjeevi. Andhra Pradesh has bagged the prize for best tourism while Rajasthan got second place and Gujarat got third place. Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad also got the award for its services that led to medical tourism. Warangal city has bagged the best heritage city award. Rajiv Gandhi International Airport has got the award as best international airport while Vizag airport bagged best airport award.  Life of Pi book and film got special tourism awards.

Chiranjeevi has said that the world tourism summit would take place in Hyderabad from April 12 to 14. He has also said that he apparently learned that Hyderabad bomb blasts took place only to obstruct that meeting. No matter how many obstacles are thrown, he said, the world tourism summit would be conducted.

After Chiranjeevi became the central tourism minister, Andhra Pradesh tourism sector boosted. The current awards serve as the best example over the same. Kudos Chiranjeevi!
