Media baron Ramoji Rao has today appeared before a court in Vishakapatnam in person. As the court summoned him directing him to appearing before it in connection with defamation case (libel) against the petitioner's father in 2005, Ramoji Rao attended the court today.

It has to be mentioned here that the petitioner Chandrashekar Rao is the son of Janardhan Rao who had a tiff with Ramoji Rao in connection with a land in Vishakapatnam. The petitioner reportedly mentioned in his petition that Eenadu (Telugu news daily) carried out derogatory articles on his father since he gave a report negating the argument of Ramoji Rao that the land in Vishakapatnam belonged to Eenadu group.
