Vamsi may quit TDP to join YSRC

Vallabhaneni Vamsimohan might also ride in the path of Kodali Nani, MLA who quit TDP to join YSR Congress. Political analysts say that Vamsi's behavior over the past few weeks and the incidents that have been taking place in Krishna district in this period of time strongly suggest that Vamsi may move to YSRC very soon. Both Kodali Nani and Vamsi are close friends of Jr NTR.

It could have been merely due to the pressures from Paritala youth and the party workers that he decided to stay in the party. However, over the past few days in Krishna district Vamsi was ousted from his position of Urban district president. He was given any clear information about the ticket to the Gannavaram constituency for the coming local elections. This made him furious about Chandrababu's attitude who earlier promised a ticket. Vamsi however says that he was not aspiring to hold power in any position and that he would carry on as the a party worker. What saddened him was the fact that he never got the opportunity as promised by Babu to speak with MLA Dasari Balavardhanarao.

He said that he lost his faith, talking to his close group of friends. This led to the feeling that he was merely a puppet in the party because they couldn't ask him to leave directly. With Chandrababu's way of dealing with the issue, he would exert more pressure on the party with his decision to move to YSRC. Since he has no guarantee that he would be given a party ticket for the constituency even if he continued in the party, he decided to move to YSRC and contest from their party. Adding to the woes of Vamsi, Jr NTR's words too have little value in the party now further lessening his hopes of securing a party ticket from TDP.
