With opposition parties taking on chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy over the alleged injustice being meted out to the people of the state especially the farmers over frequent power cuts, chief minister Kiran Kumar seems to be jumping into defence. Chief minister, who took part in farmers' meet, in Nellore district has emphasized on the developmental activities being carried out by his government.
Stressing on how his sarkar cares for the welfare of the farmers, Kiran Kumar Reddy said that his government was for the farmers. Hailing the Congress party, he said the credit of increasing the input subsidy to Rs. 10,000 goes to Congress alone.
Further, he has said that as many as 70,000 crore rupees loans would be sanctioned to the farmers for low interest rates in near future. Also, he said 33 lakh acres of dry land would be fertilized in the future. Are these promises going to impress farmers? It's a rhetoric question!
