Congress MP s from Telangana region have staged a protest in front of gate number one of Parliament demanding a separate state for Telangana. The MP s, who have been raising their voices in support of Telangana state, are holding placards demanding bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. When Andhra Wishesh team enquired them, they have said that they are particular about the state and wanted high command to take a swift action. Further, they even said that they would continue to protest at Parliament for the next 48 hours.

There at Jantar Mantar of Delhi, Telangana Joint Action Committee, is staging a protest in support of the same demand. This protest would also continue for the next 48 hours. The chairman of the committee Prof Kodandaram and other key leaders are likely to address the gathering at Jantar Mantar shortly.

At a point of time where Congress is busy with election campaign in Karnataka, raising voices in support of the state now might not really attract the attention of Congress, if we have to go by what observers say.
