BJP, which has been supporting statehood for Telangana, has reiterated that it would carve out Telangana in 100 days after coming to power. The party senior leader Prakash Javadekar, who took part in the agitation by TJAC at Jantar Mantar of Delhi, has stressed that within 100 days NDA would carve out Telangana state once it comes to power.
Commenting on UPA, Prakash Javadekar has said that Congress, which won 33 Lok Sabha seats from AP, would not even get three seats in 2014. Also, he alleged that UPA has no commitment for Telangana. Further, he said BJP would support Telangana Bill if UPA tables the same in the parliament today.
In the wake of BJP's strong support in this cause, the observers said that Congress should play it's dice at the earliest in order to maintain its existence in Telangana region.
