AK Antony leads CM selection committee

All India Congress Committee observers to select a CM candidate among the elected MLAs in Karnataka State on Wednesday will be led by Union Defence Minister A.K.Antony.

As per the General Secretary of the party Janardan Dwivedi, Antony will leave for Karnataka tomorrow.  He will be teamed with AICC General Secretary In charge of the State Madhusudan Mistri, Karnataka Screening Committee Chairman Luizinho Faleiro and Union Minister Jitendra Singh will work as AICC observers to Karnataka.

As KPCC Chief G Parameswara got defeated in the elections, although the party won with thumping majority to form the Government without alliance, now only three are in the race for the post of Chief Minister of the State of Karnataka.  One is Siddaramaiah, another is Mallikharjun Kharge and last but not least former Chief Minister Veerappa Moily.

After consultations and observations the committee will give their final recommendations to the High Command from whom the final word will come.
