App To Women's Rescue

ZestWings Informatics, a Hyderabad Company developed a Phone Application to rescue women in distress.

The recent unfortunate events in the country are posing a problem for women irrespective of their age, profession and marital status.

It is not possible to have a body guard for each and every woman in the country.  But as everyone nowadays has a cell phone and got acquainted with the day-to-day technology developments, it gave the idea to the programmers to make a telephone application that can cause someone to come to the rescue of a woman in distress.

The app sends details of the phone user to 108 within 30 seconds that will make the authorities take action.  Only catch is the app is applicable only to smart phones at present which the company assures of extending to other phones in future.

The app is free to download from mdefence.in or google playstores.  This is useful not only in attacks from other gender but also in case of accident or any other distress.  That is why the app asks the user to fill up the information of name, address, blood group and three known persons’ contact numbers.

The app is formly inaugurated yesterday by the Minister Ponnala Lakshamiah in the presence of the Zestwings Informatics CEO Rajesh and Police Commissioner Anurag Sharma.

Other precaution one has to take is to ensure that enough balance and battery support is existent in the phone plus of course keeping a presence of mind instead of losing it at the time of a problem.
