The prestigious scheme of the Congress Government's 'Bangaru Thalli' is going to be introduced in the Assembly today.  The Government is making a platform for the easy introduction and passing of the Scheme in the Assembly along with some more amendments.  They are, Municipal Corporation Amendment Bill, AP Municipal Law Amendment Bill, AP SC ST Commission Amendment bill and AP Medical Practitioners Amendment Bill.

The Bangaru Thalli Scheme will be introduced by Women and Child Welfare Minister Sunita Lakshma Reddy.  Bangaru Thalli along with the above amendment Bills will be discussed in the Assembly today as per the plan of the Government.

As far as the opposition parties are concerned, TDP wants a discussion to be taken place on the Government’s failure on the law and order situation.  TRS as usual wants a resolution on Telangana Statehood to be passed in the Assembly.

The Speaker rejected the proposals of the opposition parties.  The opposition party Members of the Assembly protested for the Speaker’s rejection of their proposals and surrounded Speaker’s podium with shoutings which disrupted the Assembly proceedings.   After the requests of the Speaker failed to make the Members to calm down and to go to their seats to allow the Assembly to go on, the Speaker Nadendla Manohar adjourned the Assembly for half hour.
