The Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar won the confidence of the Assembly with 126 votes in his favor and 24 against. Congress party members, four independents and one CPI MLA voted in favor of Nitish.
BJP MLAs walked out as Nitish Kumar was winning; accusing Nitish that he betrayed NDA. They also said that elections are not too far and the people will teach Nitish a lesson to remember.
After sacking 11 BJP Members from the ministries soon after he announced withdrawal of his party JD(U)'s support to NDA he sought permission from the Governor of the State to conduct a special session to seek vote of trust.
As Nitish Kumar won the trust, now BJP MLAs will have to sit in the opposition.
