YSR Congress Party Honorary President YS Vijayamma started her two day’s fast at Indira Park in Hyderabad.

The demand is to clear the dues and make payments towards fees reimbursement for the eligible students. Vijayamma demands that the fees reimbursement scheme introduced by late YSR should be implemented in its original form. As the protest is made for the implementation of the Government Scheme for the sake of poor students who cannot afford for higher studies, Vijayamma called for the participation of the students in large numbers.

Commenting on this the Congress party chief whip Gandra Venkata Ramana said that Vijayamma is staging the protest only to make the party to grope for survival in the political field.   He remarked that the protest is only fictitious one and the people of the State should understand it and be on vigil for such political tactics.
