Jagan Back To Chanchalguda Jail

YS Jagan was discharged from NIMS Hospital and transported back to the jail at 9.20 pm, from where he was brought for the medical treatment due to the deterioration of health after 5 days hunger strike in the jail.

YS Jagan, President of YSR Congress Party who is in the judicial custody for over one year and spending in Chanchalguda Central jail started hunger strike there when his mother Vijayamma’s hunger strike was disrupted.  The hunger strike of Vijayamma and Jagan was in protest of the CWC decision to bifurcate the State of AP and demanding justice to the people of the State.

Jagan who first was admitted in Osmania Hospital was later shifted to NIMS on 31st August for security reasons and his family members were allowed to look after him in the hospital.  Although his treatment was over and he was fit for the discharge from the hospital by Wednesday morning at 10 but the formalities took a long time to complete that delayed the discharge up to 5.00 pm.  But considering the traffic conditions in the evening, the transportation was taken up at 9.20 pm.

The YSR Congress leaders objected and shouted slogans against the Government for not considering the status of Jagan as a President of a Political party.

The patients at Osmania and NIMS hospitals were put to hardships due to heavy security measure taken by the police and jail authorities during the stay of Jagan in those hospitals.
