State employees standing for a United Andhra Pradesh have decided to take their protests to the doorstep of central government offices. Today they will protest against bifurcation outside the offices.
The protests are a continuation of movement against the government' decision to bifurcate AP. Employees belonging to various departments have been on an indefinite strike since nearly a month now. Only the essential services were exempt from the stir.
Employees union leader Ashok Babu reportedly refused to hold talks with party panels but said they are willing to discuss the bifurcation issue with an official committee that the center appoints. The Antony Committee was earlier appointed with the task of dealing with various issues pertaining to the separation of Telangana from Seemandhra.
