The Chief Minsiter Kiran Kumar Reddy who had a meeting with the Prime Minsiter Manmohan Singh along with the State leaders revealed to press today that the PM agreed for an instant releif of Rs.1000 crores for the victims of Phailin cyclone victims.
The estimated value of loss is Rs.6500 crores. Farmers in 16 districts lost crop in 14 lakhs acres in the State due to cyclone.
Kiran Kumar Reddy reiterated his stand remains the same in support of united State. At same time, he says, he is not belittling Telangana sentiment. He said again that there are many problems envisaged in bifurcation like education, water and power. That is why, he said, he wanted Center to review the situation and rethink about the bifurcation.
