As Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy did not go to Delhi to meet GoM on Thursday and as Kanna Lakshmi Narayana was called to Delhi for discussions, the rumors about the change of Chief Minister were in the air.  Some sections of the media made their speculations hot news.  The Chief Minister’s office did not give any explanation why CM’s Delhi tour was cancelled, that supported the speculations. 

As the word was strongly getting circulated, Kanna announced that it is not true.  He said that he has not gone to Delhi for getting an understanding with the high command on the issue.  Ministers TG Venkatesh, Sailajanath, Pitani Satyanarayana and Yerasu Pratapa Reddy also responded for the rumors.  They said that the high command will not take such a decision and Chief Minister will not leave the position till the Bill of State bifurcation is defeated.  They also said that no one will dare at this time to take reigns of the State.

But, TG Venkatesh accepted that the high command is trying to convince Kiran Kumar Reddy.

Kanna Lakshminarayana emotionally said that he is not in any power race.  He said that he has been working for the party right from his student life with discipline and loyalty.

The chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy clarified that he had to cancel his Delhi tour as he has to attend the Children Festival in the State.
