It is proved that the Center means business in respect of the process of State bifurcation.
The process is being accelerated by the Group of Ministers (GoM) to submit its report to the Cabinet on 21st November. The Telangana Bill is supposed to be presented before the Cabinet by 28th November. The President will send it to the State Assembly.
As per the GoM’s suggestion in their report the Municipal limits of Hyderabad should be considered to make it a joint capital for both the States. GHMC will be a common capital for 10 years. Only one Governor will be functioning for both the States during that period.
Governor may be delegated with administrative powers of some of the important departments.
