Hero Jr NTR said Telugu Film Industry has lost its second eye today and ANR's demise is a massive loss to the Telugu Cinema. After paying respects to ANR's body, Jr NTR talked to the media and said “this is most sad day for the Telugu Cinema. I'm not qualified to talk about him as he is the most senior, legendary actor in the country. I wish peace to his soul and strength to the family.”

Ramoji Rao, Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Trivikram Srinivas also paid homage to ANR. TDP chief Chandra Babu Naidu, BJP leaders Rajnath Singh and Narendra Modi have sent their condolence message to Nagarjuna and family.
