The dead body of Akkineni Nageswara Rao has been cremated within the premises of Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad. According to Hindu religious traditions amidst official police honor and tributes of his myriad fans, the rites were performed.

ANR's dead body which has been moved to Annapurna Studios after the Anthima Yatra has been lit fire within Annapurna Studios compound around the scheduled time. Film personalities and fans turned up in huge numbers to bid a final good-bye to the evergreen hero.
