Professor L. Venugopal Reddy who heads the Andhra Pradesh state Council of Higher Education has clarified that Common Enterance Test [CETs], counseling and admissions are the responsibilities of the Council and both the state governments have nothing do with it. Speaking, according to the Supreme Court orders, the vocational courses admissions will begin from August 1st and the left out seats will be notified and will be filled by August 15th. Admissions won't be entertained after August 15th and violation of these guidelines will not be tolerated.
Venugopal also said that the Council has received many requests from parents, students and educational institutes requesting to conduct the counseling as early as possible. The council will file a petition in Supreme Court regarding the delay in the counseling process by August 4th and at any cost the Engineering notification will be released on July 30th i.e, Wednesday. Venugopal added that if the Supreme Court holds the decision of counseling, then the EAMCET admissions committee will again meet up on August 5th and will take an appropriate decision.

On Tuesday, Venugopal met Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary Krishna Rao and discussed the details of admissions process. Venugopal has reportedly have a detail of the consequences however, Krishna Rao has opined that the Council did not argue up to the mark in the Supreme Court.
