Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said that every inch of land in Ramoji Film City is bought legally and never said, that he would demolish the film city. KCR who is in Warangal on a three day tour, hosted a press meet and one of the journalist asked couple of questions regarding Ramoji Rao's Film City. “Every inch of land in Ramoji Film City is bought legally and I have never said that I would demolish it. When YS Rajasekhar Reddy was chief minister, he ruthlessly used his power to caused severe damage to Ramoji Film City. In fact, I opposed this,” said KCR.
When asked about the encroached land, KCR added, “there were many allegations on the film city. On a personal note, I visited Ramoji Film City and met Ramoji Rao. He said, due to lack of information, they bought 13 acres but returned the land to the holders after getting to know about assigned lands. Ramoji Rao also showed the compound wall of film city which curvy. He did not encroach a single of land.”
The Telangana CM clarified that irrespective of background and region, his government would lay a red-carpet for all the people who want to invest in the state and provide some employment to the unemployed in the state.
