Supreme court clears the doubts between living relationship and marriage. It officially declares in a  statement that both are alike.

Living relationship is not new to the country, it well known through few of the celebrities who are engaged in such kind of relationships. From past few years there is a conflict among the few that, living relationship is against the Indian culture. 

But Supreme court officially declares that if a man and woman are living together for good number of days, then they are said to be married. After the death of the male member, the right on the property of that person completely goes to the concerned female person who is now considered a wife. From 2010 itself, government is giving such type of positive judgments the couple in living relationship. 

This ruling was into the news from a recent incident. A person who lost his wife is living with some other lady from the past 20 years without marrying her. Now that person was dead and the grand sons of the persons were arguing that the property of this grand father can no way be owned by that lady as she was not married to him. But through Justice MY. Iqbal, Justice Amithava Roy, Supreme court declared that the property belongs to that lady who was living with the grand their father since 20 years.    

SC also hinted that if the male side parties are not wishing to give the property to the concerned female, then its their duty to prove to the court that they both were not married according to the law.
