AP farmers are helpless till Pawan comes forward

As per the land acquisition notification issued by the AP government, the farmers are currently in dilemma of whether to surrender their lands to the government or not.

Overall, 35000 acres are targeted to acquire through the land pooling. As a part of this, 3892 acres is still need to be collected from the villagers.

Currently, the notification is issued to acquire 11.04 acres in five villages - Thulluru, Ananthavaram, Abbirajupalem, Pichukalapalem and Borupalem of  Thullur mandal. A further notification is expected to come out within a few days for carrying out the land pooling in the remaining 23 villages.

After the latest notification was issued, 104 acres of land was collected and the officials are pleading the oppositions, not be an obstacle in the land pooling and instead encourage the farmers for the better capital formation.

We do not fall under Capital region, so no land pooling for us – AP farmers

As said before, farmers in Undavalli, Penumaka, Bethapudi and Nidamarru villages are strictly refusing to give their lands to the government, as they are arguing that, they are not in a position of losing multi cropped lands. This has now become a severe obstacle for the AP government.

The farmers of those villages are arguing, “We are not at all falling under the capital region and the required land for the Seed Capital has already been acquired. There is no place for our villages in those grand plans, so why do they still want our land.”

Farmers who already gave lands under land pooling act, are in two minds

Regarding this, a few of the farmers already reached the court and are demanding the government to stop the land pooling. The farmers who already surrendered their lands are now in two minds, as the compensation is still delayed to the farmers. On the other hand, there are a few other farmers, who surrendered their lands, but not signed the agreement.

On the other hand, TDP minister Pratthipati Pulla Rao said, we are confident that, Pawan Kalyan will understand the situation of the AP government, behind land pooling and thus trying to maintain soft corner over Pawan. However, As Pawan declared that he is going to meet the farmers of AP, it is then, the issue is expected to get viral.
