As announced before, Janasena president Pawan Kalyan met the farmers of Undavalli, Penumaka and such other villages yesterday regarding the land pooling.
Pawan Kalyan, who is from the very beginning, against the land pooling, yesterday expressed the same opinions. Interacting to the farmers, Pawan Kalyan asked the problems faced by the farmers, through the land pooling.
What are the reasons specified by farmers, to oppose land pooling?
Most of the farmers said that, they are not at all ready to give the lands to the government, as they have multi cropped lands, with which they can earn good income
The compensation, which is announced by the government, to the farmers, for surrendering their lands, is very less.
There are no benefits to the farmers through the capital construction.
No clarity in the clause containing the farmers benefits details
This is the biggest problem raised by the farmers. Speaking about this, farmers said, there is no clarity of when the government starts giving the compensation to the farmers. There is not even clarity in the agreement given to the farmers.
Pawan questions TDP
On the other hand, speaking to the farmers, Pawan questioned the government, if at all TDP does not form the government in the next elections, what about the promises made to the farmers? Are there any security measures taken regarding the farmers, if so, why did not they mentioned them in the agreement?
You ask, we will surrender - Farmers to Pawan
Later, Pawan took various proposals from the farmers and assured them to do enough justice. Farmers said to Pawan Kalyan, “We voted TDP only because you asked us to vote, we are confident that you will do proper justice to the farmers. If you ask us to give the lands, we are ready to surrender them on the spot.”
Finally, Pawan said to the AP government, “I am not favorable to any party, I am always on public side, if farmers are ready to give the lands, take it, but if you try to force them to give the lands, I am ready to do strike on the government, but hope TDP will not take the issue to that extent.
Pawan, take back your words -Ravela Kishore
Reacting on Pawan’s comments on land pooling, Prathipadu minister Ravela Kishore said that, it is not correct for Pawan, to say to strike on the AP government, if land pooling is not stopped. Instead it is his duty to explain the importance of the land pooling to the farmers.
Other AP officials too, tried to comb Pawan, in a softer way by saying that, Pawan should understand the AP situation. However, Naidu said the land pooling will be carried according to Pawan’s wish.
However, the land pooling issue is expected to go more viral in the coming days and Pawan Kalyan stepping back regarding the issue, seems impossible.
