Do not go away, from what you think, after reading the title. It is exactly about, what you expected, that you are going to read. If there is Nirbhaya for women, Abhaya for men should also be mandatory.

Nirbhaya act was introduced by the government, for controlling the women harassments in the country. To some extent, the act is being well implemented. Though not completely, the women harassment cases are slightly reduced than before.  
 
If this is the case with the women, it seems, the harassment, threat is now being cornering the men too. An incident in Karnataka is the perfect example for the statement.

A man, resident of Raibag village of Belgaum district in Karnataka, claimed that, a woman has been harassing him for quite some time, to marry her. But upon the man refused the offer, the woman, along with her friends kidnapped the man and made him tie the knot. Not stopping there, she even shot the entire episode in a video.

The man, who got threatened after the incident, approached the police. Filing the case, the police are now investigating the case, to find out the facts in the complaint given by the man.  

Men or women, harassment is harassment, Abhaya act required - Men  

Knowing the incident, a few of the men, with the help of the welfare organizations, are now demanding to establish ‘Abhaya act’ for men to control the harassments by the women. They said, “There is no distinguishing of harassment. Men or women, harassment is harassment, so it would be better, if the government introduces Abhaya act soon.”    

Be it office, school, college or at any level, from the hundreds of years, there are only women, who are being harassed sexually in particular and various other reasons by the men. But it seems, even the men are now being harassed. So if the demand reaches the government and it finds the requirement of introducing Abhaya act, then very soon, Abhaya act for men can be expected, which is first of its kind in India.
