Film actor Sivaji had released a new video song, which dealt with the special status.
Sivaji is one such person, who has been responding to the various political issues for quite some time. During the Telangana movement, he fought to his level best for the separate state.
Not only Telangana, now he even opened up his voice for AP, demanding the special status. Sivaji is the first person to conduct the protest for the special status against the Centre.
In spite of his continuous fight for the welfare of the Telugu states, be it Andhra Pradesh or Telangana, he did not get a proper identity in any of the Telugu states. Even though he is a BJP member, BJP leaders itself said that, the party had no links with Sivaji.
At a time, during his fight for the special status, he even faced severe health issues, but that did not stop him from fighting against the Centre. But as he is not so famous in both movies and politics, no one tried to take a concern towards Sivaji.
That did not disappoint him and made him to fight for the special status continuously. This time, he had released a private video song, protesting against the Centre for the special status.
In the song, Sivaji specified various details of the Special status like, the problems people are facing in AP, after the states bifurcation. He criticized the officials stating that, they had split the rivers, reservoirs, resources and left the people to their fate.
Not stopping there, he specified in the song that, “The Centre is cheating the public and no one are in a mood to listen to the stories of the government. There is no other alternative, other than declaring the special status.”
He even encouraged the public to come forward and fight for the special status. The entire song went on the theme special status and calling the people, not to afraid for fighting for it, as it is our right.
There is a mixed response to the song, as it has English lyrics. But Sivaji’s intention can be understood from it. Hope he gets a proper recognition, atleast now.
