The suspected Paris attacks mastermind, Belgian jihadist Abdelhamid Abaaoud, has reportedly committed suicide during predawn raids yesterday.
It is known that, blasts and gunfire in Paris, has left the city in threat. The officials are investigating the case. Yesterday, when a few of the police, who are involved in the investigation, are killed by some unknown persons. It was then, the issue went more viral.
On the other side, after tracking a group of people associated with France and Europe, French Ambassador to India François Richier said that more attacks can be expected in France and Europe in the coming days.
After the police were killed, the investigation was more tightened against the attackers. It was then, the news was out, saying that, Abaaoud had committed suicide.
A French police official said that, 28 year old Abaaoud, an Islamic State militant from Brussels of Moroccan origin, was believed to be inside the apartment in the Paris suburb of Saint-Denis, along with 5 other heavily armed people when the police raids started.
Richier was asked whether Abaaoud was arrested or killed during the hour raids conducted for seven hours for the suspected mastermind of the blast and gunfire, last week, in which at least 129 people were killed.
Responding to the question, Richier said, “I have information which leads us to suspect that he committed suicide. I have no documents to say that. That is the first indication we have received.”
