The Jallikattu protest across Tamil Nadu has entered the fourth day. Hundreds are protesting at Marina Beach in Chennai while other are agitating in other parts of the state.

With this the Supreme Court has agreed to delay its verdict on Jallikattu for a week after Centre says this will help avoid unrest.

Despite Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Panneerselvam's call to stop the protests, the protesters remained to demand to hold the bull-taming sport in the state.

Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu's Opposition party Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) has also called for rail roko movement today.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister O Panneerselvam today said that "an emergency law will be brought into surpassing the Supreme Court's ban on hugely famous bull-taming sports jallikattu."

A delegation of AIADMK MPs led by Lok Sabha Deputy Speaker M Thambidurai is expected to meet Home Minister Rajnath Singh in Delhi today.
