TDP Law Maker JC Diwakar Reddy Creates Ruckus At Visakapatnam Airport:- After being denied a boarding pass for arriving late for his flight to Hyderabad, Telugu Desam Party lawmaker, JC Diwakar Reddy reportedly created a ruckus at the Visakhapatnam airport today morning.

The lawmaker is also accused of allegedly throwing the boarding pass printer used by officials at Indigo airlines check-in counter to print boarding passes.

Only last month, another MP Ravindra Gaikwad of Maharashtra was banned from flying by all airlines including private airlines for hitting an Air India officer with footwear and the ban was lifted only after he apologized. The outrage over the assault had led Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathy Raju to announce rules to ban unruly passengers from flying.

The MP reached the airport for going to Hyderabad by the Indigo airlines but arrived late, after the counter issuing boarding pass was closed. He demanded his boarding pass and when he was told that the counter had already closed, fretted and fumed against them and threw the printer out.

A six-time state legislator before his election to the Lok Sabha in 2014, Mr Reddy (73) is a party colleague of the civil aviation minister.

As news of the ruckus got out, the airline said it was investigating the matter and had “no comments to offer till completion of a thorough investigation”. No CCTV footage has been released for independent confirmation of the ruckus. The Visakhapatnam airport director, said the incident was a matter between IndiGo staffers and the lawmaker. Any formal complaint had not been received and we did not know of any damage to property.

This is not the first time that the Anantapur lawmaker creating a ruckus. In last October, he was caught on camera creating a disturbance at the Vijayawada airport after he missed his flight, again because he had showed up well after the check-in counter had closed. According to reports, he was alleged to have barged into the Air India office and damaged furniture.

It has to be seen what action would be taken against this hotheaded Andhra MP for his misbehavior.
