New Flight Rules: No Cancellation Fee Within 24 Hours:- To improve the flying experience in the country, the government stepped out with new proposals which sound completely favorable for the passengers. The passengers will not be charged for cancellation if their tickets are within 24 hours of booking them. If the flight is delayed by more than four hours, the airline should offer a full refund to the passenger. If a flight is delayed and will take place the next day, the airline has to offer a hotel stay to the passengers.

The airline has to compensate passengers for missed connecting flights. If the flight is on the tarmac for over a hour, the passengers should be provided food and drinks without any charge. The cancellation charges must be printed prominently on the ticket and the government asked all the information should be informed to the passenger on his ticket to educate them.
