AP Govt Postpones Class Tenth Examinations:- The Andhra Pradesh Government today announced that the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations for class tenth. The examinations are planned to commence from March 31st in the state and they are now postponed due to coronavirus row. The entire country is in lockdown and with the number of coronavirus cases rising, the AP Government decided to push the tenth class exams. The new dates will be finalized and announced soon. All the schools, colleges and other educational institutions are shut from the past few days.
The Directorate of Government Examinations issued a press note about the same today saying that it is quite difficult for the students to attend examinations during this lockdown period. All the students residing in hostels have been made to vacate their hostels. As per the update, the tenth class examinations are pushed for two weeks and will take place in April if things settle down. A revised schedule announcement would be made on March 31st. The Telangana government ordered the postponement of class tenth exams earlier this week.
